The whole purpose of meditation is just to find the inner guide. Once you have found the inner guide, meditation is no longer needed; then nothing is needed. You have got your eyes open now you can live your life with total spontaneity. You need not depend on the memory system at all, now your answers will be real responses. Your action will be real responses, not reactions.

Provoke a Longing

The master/disciple relationship is the
relationship between a caterpillar and
a butterfly, a friendship between a
caterpillar and a butterfly. The butterfly
cannot prove that the caterpillar can
become a butterfly; there is no logical
way. But the butterfly can provoke a
longing in the caterpillar - that is possible.
