We humans do a great deal of what
we might call "arguing with the universe."
We admire reputed magicians and
other entertainers who offer the promise
of evading the laws that govern reality.
This is a strange state of mind:
trying to prove the spirit exists
by contradicting laws presumed
to be ordained by the spirit.
