Sometimes unconditional love is not about
accepting a person regardless of any
circumstance. Sometimes it's about looking
deeply at a situation and recognizing that in
staying with someone that is hurting us, we are
actually hurting the other person as well.
Because of our "unconditional" acceptance, we
are allowing the other person to believe that
their behavior is acceptable. And this prevents
them from growing. Impeding someone's growth
is not love. Knowing when to let go is.
